Connecting people through the power of history and culture
A one-of-a-kind, poured concrete, mid-century modern home built on the banks of the Mississippi River in the 1930s by St. Cloud residents, Colie and Naomi Guy, is the site of a hands-on workshop covering mid-century modern architecture and concrete. The workshop will cover the benefits and challenges of mid-century modern homes and offer a crash course in concrete.
Taught by renovation specialist, Eric Cheever, the workshop will include a tour of the home and grounds and a hands-on guided course in concrete. Own a mid-century modern home? Dealing with the joys and struggles of a flat roof? Got concrete that needs maintenance and repair? Then this class is for you!
General admission for the class is $30. Admission for Stearns History Museum members is $25.
