DESCRIPTION:Hello\, \nI am excited to share that the St. Cloud Area Genealogists board decided to hold the April 21\, 2020 membership meeting in an online format using Zoom.  I realize this may be an unfamiliar format for some. However\, this is the best delivery to ensure your health and safety currently.  It will allow those who went south for the winter or live outside the St. Cloud area to participate in our meeting presentation. \nWe will begin at 7:00 p.m. but you can connect to the online portion anytime after 6:30 p.m.  We will begin with a short business program followed by a presentation. \nDr. Chris Kvaal will present “DNA and Genealogy from a basic biology standpoint” \nA tutorial on how to connect your device (computer\, laptop\, ipad\, cell phone\, telephone) to the Zoom meeting can be found online at https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/201362193-How-Do-I-Join-A-Meeting- You will want to be in a location with good internet bandwidth.  As a participant\, you do not need to connect to a webcam.  Only the host and presenter will display video. \nYou may need to download and run Zoom if this is the first time using this software.  You can also download the free Zoom app in the Google Play Store.
