Connecting people through the power of history and culture
Join us for Civil War Roundtable on Tuesday, October 11th @ 3:30 p.m. This program is free and open to the public!
Many of us grew up hearing Robert E. Lee described as one of the greatest American generals of all time (if not thegreatest) while Ulysses S. Grant was sometimes described as a drunk and a butcher. In more recent years, Grant’s reputation has risen while Lee’s has taken some hits. In this presentation, we’ll discuss how historians have described both generals through the years as well as give audience members a chance to share their insights and opinions in an interactive presentation.
