Connecting people through the power of history and culture
Perfect for home and property owners eager to get ready for the cold weather season, this workshop covers how to fix cracks and drafts, repair problem doors and windows, and paractice the best winterization methods and techniques. Taught by local renovation specialist, Eric Cheever, this class is for anyone caring for an older home or structure. Held at the beautiful Queen Anne-style yellow brick home built in 1886 by the founder of Fandels Department Stores, it’s the perfect setting to learn about everything from energy audits and tuckpointing to how older, existing buildings can be just as snug and energy efficient as newer ones. A must for anyone looking to get ready for winter!
General admission for the class is $30. Admission for Stearns History Museum members is $25. To register, visit stearnshistorymuseum.org/events or contact Ann Marie at 320-253-8424 or [email protected]. Class size is limited so register today!
